Specs – 46% ABV and its non-chilled filtered and natural colour. Perfect 👌

Nose – this had a very apple 🍎 nose to start, even creamy nose if that makes sense. Then some vanilla and a little hint of ginger. There’s a wheat 🌾 field and dusty note too with some apple cider and citrus. Really amazing nose 16/20

Palate – more of the apple notes then a sweet and sour ginger sauce. The palate is nice a creamy with lots of white fruits a snappy ginger a just a hint of farmy funk to it. It also is very candy sweet. 37/50

Finish – here’s where it slips just a bit. There are nice ginger and sweet apricots note to start the finish then it gets a little hot new make for me right at the end. 13/20

Bottle – I like this bottle. You can tell a lot of care and design details went into this bottle. It’s not the best but better than the average 4/5

Value – at $80 CAD I think this is definitely priced accordingly and right where it should be. 3/5

Overall – this is a solid bottle from Kingsbarns. I’m not sure I’ve had anything else from their lineup but this one makes me very hopeful and excited for the future of their brand. I’d say for the price this is a nice one to have on the shelf. This is adventure worthy.
